The Classic City Kiwanis Club hosted a "Governor's Rally" for the 7th Division of Kiwanis in Georgia on February 20th at the U.S. Naval Supply Corps School in Athens. Governor Johnny Johnson, of the Kiwanis Club of East Cobb, was introduced by Andy Ullrich, Lt. Governor of Division 7 and member of the Classic City Club. Governor Johnson, who addressed the dinner meeting, and his wife, Anna, were guests of honor for the evening's event.
"It was a tremendous success, from the venue to the bill of fare, including turnout and reception. The decorations were outstanding as was our live entertainment. Everything was supurb," according to Mr. Ullrich. "I can't thank the members and their wives enough for what they did to make it a memorable event."
The rally was also attended by many from the Division 7 Clubs, including the Classic City Kiwanis Club (which meets every Wednesday at 7:30AM for breakfast at the Navy School - Adam West, President), the Athens Kiwanis Club (meets Tuesdays for lunch at Holiday Inn - Ken Jarrett, President), Commerce Kiwanis, Elberton Kiwanis, Franklin County Kiwanis, Golden K Kiwanis, Hart County Golden K, Hartwell Kiwanis and Winder Kiwanis.
